Location formerly entered as NJ 8170 1726.
NJ 8170 1726. Situated on a low knoll in dense woodland are the remains of an oval shaped feature possessing certain cairn-like features. The remains consist of a stone and turf mound 13.0m north to south, 11.0m east to west and 0.5m average height. On the west side, is a large recumbent stone 1.6m long and 0.7m broad; there are several large stones on the perimeter. Numerous small stones lie scattered around the exterior and interior of the feature and, in the interior, on the south side, there is a large heap of stones partly covered by vegetation.
The density of the trees makes the identifying of the feature difficult.

(Classification amended to Cairn; Hut-circle (possible)).This cairn is situated in a forestry plantation and measures about 12m in diameter and 1m in height. Overlying the cairn is a possible hut-circle, which measures about 8m in diameter within a boulder-faced wall about 1m in thickness and 0.6m in height. The position of the entrance may be marked by a slight dip in the crest of the wall on the SE.
