EXTERNAL REFERENCE

"Brechin - The offer of Mr Baxter, for the erection of a bridge across the Den, has been accepted. The building is designed by Mr Henderson, and consists of seven arches of 12 feet span each, and the height at the centre of the Den will be about 30 feet. The roadway is 12 feet wide, and is about 150 feet in length. The contract for the building of the bridge is £492."
