NMRS, MS/712/75.

This granite boundary stone is situated on the steep left (W) bank of the Bucks Burn, but it now stands at least 25m SSE of its last reported location (NJ 8920 0917). Rectangular in section, the stone measures 0.29m in breadth by 0.17m in thickness and 0.76m in height, though it now leans heavily to the ENE. The top of the SW face is bevelled and bears the letters ABD below the number 44. In addition a brass levelling nail has been driven into the flat top of the stone.
