Cromlethill, South Road, early 19th century. Restrained centre block, two storeys, three windows, stuccoed with wooden Doric-columned porch and piend roof. One-window wings set back. Restored 1983.
Memorial on roadside outside Cromlethill: Birthplace of Sir Patrick Manson, GC, MG, MD, FRCP, DSC, LLD, FRS, 1844-1922, 'the father of tropical medicine ...' erected by the London School of Tropical Medicine founded by him in 1899.
