A polished axe of porphyritic stone, a diorite axe, a greenstone axe, ten flint arrowheads and three whorls, all from Fyvie (NJ 76 37) were purchased for the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland [NMAS] in 1913-4.

Another stone axe from Fyvie was donated to the NMAS in 1979-80 by Dr Dally, Edzell.
