The Lang Stane o' Craigearn is a grey granite monolith 11 1/2ft [3.5m] high, and 9ft [2.7m] in girth, situated in an old pasture field just north of a plantation at Kaim Hill. It is said to be the only surviving member of a stone circle.
Name Book 1866; F R Coles 1901.
This monument is situated in pasture in the middle of a knoll and on the crest of a small hill at an altitude of 90m OD. It commands views to the S and W.

The Lang Stane is an unhewn granite pillar that stands on the summit of a low rise in the garden of a bungalow named 'Paddockhurst'. It measures 1.15m in breadth from NE to SW by 0.65m in thickness and stands 3.4m in height.
Visited by RCAHMS (IF, JRS), 26 July 1996.
Scheduled as 'Lang Stane o' Craigearn, standing stone 50m N of Littlewood Cottage... a single large monolith [situated] 90m above sea level... on the crest of a small hill... within the grounds of Littlewood Cottage.'
