Camies' Grave, supposed to be the burial-place of a Danish leader killed nearby (at the Camies' Stone - NJ71NE 5), is a cist, 4ft by 2ft, containing, when opened a few years since, only a few black ashes.
OS Name Book 1867.
The cist-cover and one of its supports were seen by Coles (1902).

The site of this cist lies in a cultivated field 200m W of Braeside farmsteading on the S-facing crest of a low rounded hill.
