Mousa Lighthouse [NAT]

Location formerly entered in error as HU 4708 2308.

This beacon or minor light is situated on Perie or Peerie Bard [name: HU 470 238], a small islet off the SE side of Mousa. It was built in 1951 by P H Hyslop (engineer), and was designed for automatic operation from the outset.

This building is depicted, but not noted, on the current edition of the OS (GIS) AIB.
