NJ62NE 20 c. 66 25.
An Late Bronze Age hoard of 9 socketed axes and various 'rings' was found on the farm of Rehill or Redhill (probably Ryhill at NJ 66 25) near the hill of Benachie, in Premnay parish. In 1853, J Stuart donated one of the axes (DQ 72) to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS), where they remain.

(Socketed axe of Portree type). Hoard, found on Rehill or Redhill Farm, near Benachie Hill. Socketed axe, slightly corroded, grey-brown, trimmed, blade hammered, haft ribs, asymmetrical body; length 80mm, mouth 27x33mm, cutting edge 60mm, weight 250 gms. NMA (DQ 72). Ass. finds: Originally nine socketed axes and various rings. At present two are known: two penannular armlets, one of Type Covesea, the other related.
