OS 6" map, (1959)

A large cairn, removed in 1856, revealing an urn containing small pieces of bone and a quantity of black earth. The urn was broken when removed.

Name Book 1869.

No further information.

Visited by OS (NKB) 13 March 1969.

Nothing is now visible of this large cairn, which was removed in the 19th century; the present whereabouts of an urn found within the cairn is not known.
