Fragments of the upper portion of a vessel of dark reddish clay, probably a cinery urn of bucket type, since there is no indication of an overhanging rim, found at Monymusk, were donated to National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) by Sir Arthur H Grant of Monymusk.

Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1938.

The accession number of this fragment of cinerary urn in the Royal Museum of Scotland is NMS:EA 222; its original findspot is not recorded.
