Architecture Notes

NMRS REFERENCE:

Architect: James Burn? 1802

Has plaques of reclining ladies, as at Gosford, on the two projecting wings

and a seated sphinx (also at Gosford) centre top. Also two vases in the

corners. All have been painted, with the reclining ladies nearly black on

a grey ground. So only recognisable as Coade from ther designs.

Information from Miss Alison Kelly, 1983
