Activities

Note (27 October 2018)

Date Fieldwork Started: 27/10/2018

Compiled by: NOSAS

Location Notes: The panel is in rough grass at the edge of an open pasture field which slopes to the NW, close to the sea cliffs. The edge of the field comprises many boulders of different sizes and types, of which this is one. There is a modern barbed wire fence immediately to the SW (field) side of the panel, and the coastal path, following the cliff edge, is immediately to the NE.

Panel Notes: The panel is a broken boulder about 0.9 x 0.7 x 0.5m high. The rock is hard medium grained and of uniform texture, probably metamorphic. There are 6 distinct cups on the upper surface, 3 of which are larger and deeper than the others.
