The Temple Iron Works, 1012 Crow Road was founded around 1890 by William Baird and made iron and steel girders and roofs. There was a two bay, steel-framed, corrugated-iron clad engineering shop built around 1913 (£2500) and a one storey and attic, 7 bay office block.
