One large and one small bead of jet, found in a cist at Gartly, Aberdeenshire, were purchased for the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland 1889. Accession Nos. - EQ 211, 212.

The site of the cist was not found and no further information was obtained during the course of field investigation.
