(HY 2841 2845) Chapel (NR) (Site of)

O.S.6"map, Orkney, 2nd ed.,(1900).

'Site of ancient "Romish Church". It is not known whether there was a burial ground in connection. When this piece of ground was cultivated a great number of stones and rubbish was found but nothing to indicate there having existed a burial ground.'

Name Book 1880.

The site falls on a knoll in a pasture field. There is no trace of a chapel or burial ground, and no local information.
