A farmstead annotated 'in Ruins', comprising five unroofed buildings and one enclosure, and a field-system which extends as far as the field-system to the NE (see NX46NW 121) are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Kirkcudbrightshire 1852, sheet 28). Two unroofed buildings, one enclosure and a field-system are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1980).
