A farmstead comprising two unroofed buildings, one of which is annotated Ruins, four roofed buildings, two of which are long buildings and another has two outshots, and three enclosures, one of which is incomplete, an unroofed structure, which lies approximately 430m to the SW at NX 2845 4931, and a field-system, which is partly marked by pecked lines and annotated Track of Fence, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Wigtonshire 1850, sheet 24). Two roofed buildings, two enclosures, a sheepfold and the fragmentary remains of the field-system are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1982).
