Archaeology Notes

NH68NW 42 6320 8962

(NH 6320 8962) A pillbox situated on the N side of the old A9 (T) road, now the A 949, 500m NW of the Old Manse of Creich [Creich Old Manse: NH68NW 37.00]. All that survives is one wall of the pillbox set into the bank above the road. Lengths of tramline that were used for reinforcing rods are visible in the remains of this structure.
