Archaeology Notes

NJ44NW 6 4320 4704.

At NJ 4320 4704 is a hollowed mound 10.0m in diameter surviving as a grassy rim, up to 2.0m wide, mutilated by tree stumps. A modern hill dyke encroaches on the E arc. Probably a robbed cairn although its position on a slope is not particularly good.

Surveyed at 1:2500.

Visited by OS (IMT) 7 September 1973.
