On the E side of the road to Naust is a large concrete platform with at least two hut bases nearby. This large concrete block was for a 20mm Oerlikon light anti-aircraft gun.

The concrete platform is known locally as the '3d bit' due to its shape and size.

Field Visit (11 October 2013)

A large concrete platform constructed on a rocky knoll for a light anti aircraft gun. Below and to the S of the platform are the remains of a brick walled magazine. Three concrete hut bases lie parallel with the road.
