War Memorial, J. Hinton Gall, 1922 -4 A slim, turretted tower standing to attention on a buttressed plinth atop Cnoc nan Uan; inside, also of granite, a vaulted ground floor room and stair. Built with considerable input from Lord Leverhulme, who unveiled it on his last day in the Western Isles, 5 September 1924 .
