Photographed by J R Hume in 1966 who recorded that the building lies on N side of Wood Street; although clearly of an industrial function no building of a specialised nature is noted on either the 1st or 2nd edition maps. However given the louvred window it may be that the building was connected to the bleachworks that operated contemperaneously with the cotton mills.
