(NJ 4737 1806, NJ 4756 1774 and NJ 4811 1785) Flint Arrowheads found (NAT) (Three places)

OS 6" map, Aberdeenshire, 2nd ed., (1902)

Several flint arrowheads found, 'a few years ago' and '10 or 12 years ago' in cultivation or on the surface. Some are described as 1 1/2 inches (38mm) long and heart shaped (but this may be a stereotyped description - see NJ41NE 6).

Name Book 1867.

No further information.

The present whereabouts of these arrowheads, which were found about 1866, are not known.
