Archaeology Notes

NJ41NE 24 c. 45 18.

A barbed and tanged arrowhead of yellow flint, 1 inch long, found in Kildrummy parish, was presented to the NMAS in 1865 by the Rev John Christie, Kildrummy.

Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1865.

This arrowhead, which was donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland in 1865, is noted but not detailed in the published catalogue of the NMAS. It is listed amongst a number of other arrowheads (AD 1-140) found in Aberdeenshire.
