Note
A farmstead comprising one unroofed building, which is annotated Ruin, one roofed long building with an outshot and two enclosures, and a subdivided field are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ayrshire 1858, sheet lviii). Two roofed buildings and one enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978). The creation of Loch Doon Reservoir caused a rise in the water level, and this site is now partly under water.
