(Area: NJ 451 034) 3 Circular features shown. Noted by Ogston as a hut circle (A), 30ft in diameter; an oval or boat-shaped redoubt (B), on the S height of Knock Hill, consisting of blocks of stone arranged like a low stone circle in an outer and inner row, with its opening towatrds the E; a circular redoubt (C), on the N height of Knock Hill.

These three features are all robbed cairns.
A - At NJ 4511 0356, a low stony mound with a hollowed centre, c. 13.5m diameter, c.0.6m high, situated in a conspicuous position on a saddle.
B - At NJ 4512 0346, a low stony mound with a hollowed centre, c. 13.5m diameter, c.0.6m high, prominently situated on a ridge.
C - At NJ 4514 0373, a continuous kerb of stones 5.3m diameter, with a small quantity of cairn material within, prominently situated on the summit of Knock Hill.
A small mound of stones c.4.0m diameter, on the highest point of the ridge c.35m to the W of B, is probably a clearance heap associated with NJ40SE 28, - Hut Circle and Field System.
