A farmstead comprising one unroofed long building with an attached incomplete enclosure, and a length of field wall are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Renfrewshire 1863, sheet xix), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1992).

Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 27 April 2000.

This farmstead, which comprises a building, a hut (both reduced to grass-grown footings) and an enclosure, is situated immediately N of a small conifer plantation in rough pasture to the W of Stonebyres Wood. The building, which is depicted roofless on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Renfrewshire 1863, sheet xix), measures at least 18.3m from NE to SW by 6m over all. The hut lies 20m to the N of the building and the enclosure is situated immediately N of the hut.

Visited by RCAHMS (AGCH, GB) 24 October 2007.
