NJ40NW 15 4315 0517.

(NJ 4315 0517) Oval mound shown, about 70.0m long 25.0m wide, orientated NE-SW.

Information from A C O'Dell to OS, 28 October 1953 and MS from A Ogston.

The western end of Likelys Hill shows a beautiful little redoubt of large blocks of stone arranged in a circle, and a line of wall commencing near it and extending for a little distance southwards towards the quarry (NJ 4350 0495).

A Ogston 1931.

No trace in a cultivated field.

Visited by OS (A A) 4 September 1968.

This monument is situated on a gentle SW-facing slope at an altitude of 192m OD.

NMRS, MS/712/44.

Nothing is visible of this mound, and its site lies in what is now a cultivated field about 150m WSW of North Nib.
