Linthouse St Kenneth's Church, 9 Skipness Drive, 1899, James Miller
The red ashlar classical nave front, with baroque canopied entrance, is strangely flanked by battered towers in the Arts & Crafts style Miller was using in his villas at the time. The composition was much better developed a few years later at St Andrew's East Church (see p. 00). Original Hall, linked by arch to church, has small-pane mullioned windows. Twin-gabled Church Officer's House. Alterations and West Hall, 1933, Keppie & Henderson. Detached from Linthouse proper by Clyde Tunnel approaches.
