Air photography (CUCAP AZF 13-15, dated 27 July 1969, and CDW 13-15, dated 31 July 1977; AAS/86/03/S4/27 and AAS/92/03/S7/7-9, dated 2 July 1992) has recorded cropmarks (which probably represent old garden layouts) in arable ground within the policies of Gordon Castle.
