NMRS NOTES

Glasgow, Croftfoot Station.

Depicted on OS map 1:2500, 1960, double sheet NS 6060 and NS 6160.

Probably built post-grouping; electrified 1960s.

Island platform station with shelter.

Built on the Caledonian Railway Companys Lanarkshire and Ayrshire extension railway which opend in 1903. Croftfoot station opening in the 1920's or 1930's following the construction of the adjacent housing estate.
