A cup marked stone, 3' high, was discovered on Deskry farm (NJ 39 12), Strathdon, in 1921. It contains six small rather crude cups forming a perfect Latin cross, six large cups, 'looking curiously new', also forming a Latin cross, the outline of two small crosses, and three disconnected cups. (c/f NJ31SE 16).

(Information from 'Aberdeen Daily Journal, illust, 18 June 1921).

G K Browne 1921.
