An Erd House was discovered about 1852 by workmen excavating for the foundations of the present steading at Colquhonny [Colquhonnie: NJ31SE 85].

Name Book 1866.

No trace.

Visited by OS (N K B) 29 August 1968.

The site of this souterrain lies in the farmyard immediately to the N of the disused steading at Colquhonnie. No trace of it could be seen on the date of visit.

Nothing is known locally about this monument, which appears to have been covered up by the tennis-court of the Colquhonny Hotel. The site need not be revisited.
