NJ27SW 4 c. 22 70.

In Elgin Museum is a collection of fragments of pottery, chiefly handles and portions of water jugs, from the shell heaps at Stotfield.

J Anderson and G F Black 1888.

In Elgin Museum are a decorated stone whorl and a bronze ring from a kitchen midden at Stotfield (NJ 22 70). There are also a bronze pin, 2 bronze needles and part of a flat bronze ring, with radial markings from a shell mound at Stotfield. All late 19th century donations by A J Kennedy of Lossiemouth.
