World War One Audit of Surviving Remains (1 October 2013)

The Glenlomond Sanitorium was opened as Glenlomond War Hospital, a military specialist neurological unit, in 1918, contracts for construction having been advertised in December 1914. It became a civilian sanitorium in 1919. The building was designed by Alexander Cumming Dewar.
