Collection items relate to the Old South Church, Drymen Road, built in 1874 as New Kilpatrick United Presbyterian Church. It was extended in 1882 and 1887. It became Bearsden United Free Church, and then, in 1929, Bearsden South Church of Scotland. This building was destroyed by a bomb in 1941, and the present church on the site was opened in 1955.
