Publication Account (1976)
Lanarkshire Steel Works, Flemington (location cited NS767 564) founded 1899 by the Lanarkshire Steel Company Ltd. The 2 -storey and attic, 4-by-19-bay , snecked-rubble office block is dated 1899 and it is probable that the steel-framed, open-hearth melting shop is also original, as is some of the equipment.
J R Hume, 1976.
