Archaeology Notes

NJ25NW 15 c. 205 552

In Elgin Musueum are seven worked flint flakes found in 1861 on the N side of the road in a piece of rough ground between Middleton (NJ 20 54) and Randygairn (? Rhynagairn NJ 20 55). Probably found in the area centred NJ 205 552 where there is still an area of whin covered ground. Otherwise no further information.

Visited by OS (A A) 17 May 1971; Information from Elgin Museum Acc Reg.
