Cardonald Station [NAT]

OS (GIS) MasterMap, May 2010.

Opened 01/10/1879 on site of earlier Moss Road Station, (opened 01/01/1843; closed c. 1845). Electrified in 1960's.

(Undated) information in NMRS.

A two platform through station, with access from a road over-bridge. The booking office and platform shelters are modern, but the covered wood and steel footbridge is original. To the north was an extensive goods yard, now disused.

J R Hume 1974.
