Activities

Watching Brief (18 August 2014)

NJ 6876 6465 A watching brief was maintained on 18 August 2014 during topsoil stripping in advance of the construction of houses. The site, which occupied a narrow strip of land between a steep rocky incline and the shore, proved to have a very thin layer of topsoil above solid rock. No finds or features of archaeological significance were recorded.
