A village comprising four unroofed buildings, one partially roofed L-shaped building, fifty-three roofed buildings, which include a Distillery (NT29SW 29) and a School, and their associated enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Fife and Kinross 1856, sheet 36). Six unroofed, one partially roofed, thirty five roofed buildings and their associated enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
