Field Visit (1 May 1996)

NY49NE 8 4926 9655

On the slope between the Castle Sike and Lady's Sike there is a scatter of small cairns and field-banks extending over an area measuring 250m from E to W by 190m transversely. About ten small cairns were located, together with banks running both across and along the contour, one of which one is cut by the park pale (NY49NE 3, NY 4931 9659).
