A flat bronze axe (Coles' type A or B), probably from Duffus (parish centred NJ 1567) is in Elgin Museum (1874.9).

(Flat axe of Migdale type). Duffus, Morayshire (?). single find - Flat axe, originally rough cast, polished, black-brown, modern drilling hole near butt end; length 154mm, butt 41mm, cutting edge 74mm, weight 300 gms. Elgin Mus. (1874.9).
