Accessing Scotland's Past Project

In the late eighteenth century the Duke of Gordon began building a road from Glenlivet to Tomintoul which was capable of carrying carriages. This bridge, a rubble-built, single-span structure with a slight hump-back, was constructed as part of the programme of works.
