Struthers Memorial Church of Scotland, 52 Westbourne Gardens, 1881, John Honeyman

Built as Westbourne Free Church. Italian Renaissance with exceptionally delicate detailing. Corinthian above Ionic twin columns supporting pediment of shallow portico. Two bell towers with ogee lead domes. Good interior with galleries, deep at back, shallow to sides, coffered ceiling, elaborate ornament, baroque furnishings. Stained glass, c.1920, Douglas Strachan and c.1951, Margaret Chilton. [
