Place of discovery: NJ 2026 4218
Present location: cemented against the inner face of the churchyard wall beside the gate at Knockando Church (NJ 18672 42883).
Evidence for discovery: Stuart records that the stone was said to have been brought around 1810 from the old burial ground at Pulvrenan (Canmore 16391 & 270555), along with Knockando 1 and 3.
Present condition: weathered, broken into two, and edge damage.
Description
Extending much of the length of this slab are four incised symbols: at the top a serpent, above a flower symbol, and the a mirror with double ball handle and a single-sided comb.

No. 2 is a slab of dioritic stone of approximately rectangular shape 6ft 3ins (1.9m) by 1ft 6ins (0.45m) wide sculptured with incised lines on one face. Front - At the top of the slab, a serpent, and near the bottom the mirror symbol without the comb. The mirror has a handle of the double disc pattern.

Measured Survey (December 2006)
RCAHMS graphic survey in December 2006 records what is probably a 'flower' symbol between the serpent and the mirror plus part of a comb, to the right of the mirror handle.
