Queen's Park Baptist Church, 20 Balvicar Drive, 1875, William Leiper
Built as Camphill Queen's Park Church, in Leiper's favourite Normandy Gothic. Good sculptural detail by McCulloch & Co. of London. Soaring octagonal spire based on a personal study of St Pierre, Caen, on massive corner tower with open belfry stage. Galleried interior, Leiper stencilled timber vault roof, walls now whitewashed, leaded glass. Recently renovated. Hall, 1873, by others to south.
