Note
A number of pendicles, comprising thirty-four roofed, three partially roofed, ten unroofed buildings and four unroofed structures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Forfarshire 1865, sheet lv). The area is used as a military camp and training ground and is therefore not not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
