NJ82NE 52 centred 8652 2867

(Location cited as NJ 8652 2867). Raitshill. Air photography (AAS/00/03/G7/18, 20-1 and AAS/00/03/CT63-6, flown 3 February 1999) has recorded an area of subdued and gorse-covered rig-and-furrow cultivation on a gentle slope.

Oblique aerial photography (AAS/00/03/G7/18, 20-21) has recorded an area of rig-and-furrow in uncultivated, gorse-covered, rough pasture about 280m N of Raitshill farmsteading (NJ82NE 59). The rig, which measures up to about 8m across is mainly aligned NW and SE, but a small plot at the SW edge is aligned ENE and WSW.
